Mahuli Community Development Center (MCDC) is a non-profitable social development organization of Nepal. Currently, MCDC Nepal is implementing the Habitat for Humanity Nepal (HFH) supported project titled “Safe Shelter Program Housing project” in Siraha and Saptari district of Madhesh Province. We invite applications from interested and qualified Nepali citizens for the following positions. The positions are based in Saptari and Siraha district field office.

 

Position: Project Coordinator – 1 Nos.

Minimum Academic Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following fields with minimum 5 years of proven experience in relevant development projects: Sociology/Social Work, Rural Development, Development Studies, Civil Engineering (with demonstrated experience in community development and social mobilization), Architectural Engineering, Disaster Risk Management, or Environmental Science, or other relevant disciplines. Master’s Degree in Sociology, Development Studies, Disaster Management, Rural Development, Civil Engineering, or a related field will be given preference.

Position: Project Officer (MSD/MEAL) – 1 Nos.

Minimum Academic Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following disciplines: Rural Development, Development Studies, Business Administration, Management, Sociology, Agro-forest Management, Economics, Commerce, or other relevant disciplines. Master’s Degree in Economics, Agricultural Economics, Development Studies, Business Administration, Rural Development, Statistics, or Monitoring & Evaluation will be an added advantage.

2. JD_Project officer_Housing

 

Position: Technical Officer (Civil Sub-Engineer) – Few

Minimum Academic Qualification: Diploma (3 years) in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution with at least one year of experience in civil construction work. Additional training in Structural Engineering, Bamboo Engineering Construction, Earthquake-Resistant Construction, Resilient Housing, AutoCAD, or Quantity Surveying will be an added advantage.
